手作りの時計 : Gothic Laboratory

起き忘れ去られた何かを見つけたとき、幼い頃に宝物を発見した時の心持ちにさせてくれる時計。
Kouheiとmariが創りあげる世界に1つしかない、其の所収者と時を共に過ごす時計。

時計とはただ単に今現在の時刻を知るための道具だけでなく、過去、現在、そして未来へとその所有者と共に時間を刻み続けるアイテムである。それは装飾品以上に、果てしない時の中で自己を発見する方位磁針のようなものでもある。
KouheiとmariによるGothic Laboratoryの創る作品はそれ自体に生命が宿り、自分に語りかけてくるような気がする。
作品は時の籠の中に囚われた私たちを見護るように、たとえその所有者が時と共に失われてゆく存在であったとしてもその痕跡は残り、悠久の時と経て更に輝きを増す。まるで新たな生命を吹き込まれたように。 Continue reading →
